A Very Hungry Caterpillar Birthday Party

Featured at Ohdeedoh!!!

Best Kids Parties: The Very Hungry Caterpillar

Books are one of our favorite party themes and especially when it's a much beloved book like this one. Jessie describes: Iris and Sarah ask me to read Eric Carle's The Very Hungry Caterpillar every night, so it was easy to pick this as their theme for their big 3-year-old party!

This is one of the cutest things I have seen! Loved those toenails. I am so glad to find your blog, I have been a kindergarten teacher for 4 years and want to find out more about montessori now that I am home with my daughter. Thank you!

What a great birthday party, Jessie! This would make a wonderful end-of-unit celebration for a butterfly unit study, too! I featured your nature shelf photo and your post in my Montessori-Inspired Caterpillar-Butterfly Unit at http://livingmontessorinow.com/2012/05/17/montessori-inspired-caterpillar-butterfly-unit/
